Music Therapy

Music Therapists use music and sounds to develop a trusting relationship with their clients so that they are able to grow and develop in a variety of ways. Music is a powerful medium that can both soothe and stimulate, express emotion and even reduce pain. At the Cornerstone Centre, Mel focusses on using music to help young children, who may have additional needs, to develop their communication, interaction and support the relationship with their parents and carers. Music Therapy is a profession registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
